Hyundai i30 debuts new Auto Link app

The recently-launched 2017 Hyundai i30 range has become the launch pad for the company’s latest smartphone app, dubbed Hyundai Auto Link, which aims to help owners become smarter drivers.

Available as standard across the new i30 range, the Hyundai Auto Link app connects the vehicle’s on-board computer to your smartphone via bluetooth, tracking vehicle performance and providing real-time driving data.

Information accessible via the app includes vehicle diagnostics, tyre pressure monitoring and vehicle ‘health check’ status.

Other features include driving history diagnostics, parking management, service scheduling and a shortcut to roadside assistance.

The system will eventually be available across the Hyundai range, but for now is exclusive to the new-generation ‘PD’ i30.

Hyundai Auto Link is now available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iOS and Android devices.
