In the Indian Puranas all the Secrets of the Cosmos

Internet? It already existed two thousand years ago. He claimed this, during a public speech, Biplab Deb, Minister of State of Tripura, in India. According to the politician, the proof is in the ancient epic texts written in Sanskrit, such as the Mahabharata, in which a king seated in his palace is informed in real time of the outcome of a battle: possible, it is the conclusion of the Indian minister, only with the presence of telecommunications satellites and the network.

Statements that the very people of the network then ridiculed and mocked. But Biplab Deb is not the first prominent Indian figure to claim credit for having devised technologies for our nation that we believe are the result of the modern era.

Prime Minister Modi himself, in 2014, had stated (always quoting passages from Vedic texts) that assisted reproduction and aesthetic surgery techniques were invented in India several millennia ago. Phrases that sound absurd to many of us, but that seem quite logical to those who know the ancient culture of the Asian giant in depth.

"In reality, every practical, technological and scientific aspect was already known in previous civilizations. The Indian Puranas try this widely. It is only because of a European and colonialist prejudice that history, in schools, is told in a distorted way ", explains Valentino Bellucci, an expert on these fascinating texts. "In the ancient civilizations there were very advanced medical and scientific knowledge (it would be enough to study Ayurvedic medicine). As regards assisted procreation, I recommend reading the Bhagavata-Purāna, in particular the first Cantos. The reader will find a technologically and spiritually advanced society described. An episode even recounts a human cloning by priests in order to have a better king, after the death of the last king (Birth of King P diithu, Bhagavata-Purāna, Canto 4, chap. 14-15)

A graduate in philosophy and sociology, Bellucci is a lecturer in history and philosophy at a high school and has followed a personal path of in-depth study of issues related to anthropology and social dynamics. Thanks to the encounter with the great orientalist Icilio Vecchiotti, connoisseur of Sanskrit and Vedic texts, he approached this extraordinary cultural heritage. "My first approach is historical-critical, which allowed me to separate the allegorical and pedagogical parts from the historical and scientific ones. The second is the traditional and initiatory one (being a bhakti-yoga practitioner) which allowed me to access the most intimate spiritual contents of the texts. Both approaches are necessary if one wishes to fully grasp this corpus of unique texts in human history.

THE PROFESSOR VALENTINO BELLUCCI

Reading and analyzing the ancient Indian texts with these two methods complementary to each other, Professor Bellucci was convinced that many millennia before Christ in India a refined civilization flourished, endowed with very deep knowledge in every area of science and with technological notions even higher than the current ones. "In reality, our science would not even exist without the Indian number system (which the Arabs brought to Europe) and without the zero. Centuries before Copernicus and Galilei, Indian astronomers had already demonstrated and calculated the orbit of the Earth around the Sun and the force of gravity ", he assures.

"Architecture, engineering and machines for flying in the sky and in space were already present in these Indian civilizations. Around the world there are traces of cities whose architecture denotes profound physical and mathematical knowledge. In the Purānas the machines for flying are often mentioned and in other minor texts their operation is described in detail. "In short, the Vimana, of which much has been said and much has been written. In India, there are university professors, chemists, engineers working to reproduce the metal alloys and building materials indicated in the Vedas with which they then build the planes and spaceships of antiquity. But Indian wisdom would be the repository of even more advanced knowledge.

AN EXAMPLE OF VIMANA

"In my essay The wisdom of Shiva I tried to show, in summary, how much advanced scientific knowledge was already present in the Puranas," says Professor Bellucci. "Biology, quantum physics, the relativity of time ... These are all aspects already present in these wonderful texts. In particular, the Purānas already described the existence of other galaxies and other universes beyond ours (infinite material universes), something that only string physics has dared to do recently. But the remarkable aspect, in my opinion, consists in the fact that this knowledge of the material world is not an end in itself but is linked to a, far superior, knowledge of the spiritual worlds and of the divine, beyond every dogma of religions that we know in Europe".

THE Essay written by PROF. Bellucci

Valentino Bellucci continues: “In ancient civilizations spirituality was something scientific and practical. Now I'm working on other essays to spread this unique and valuable knowledge. In particular, my essay on the psychology of yoga will soon be published and I am also curating an extraordinary text dedicated to the Indian philosophy of Shankya, which will give the reader many tools to better analyze concepts such as karma and reincarnation, often misunderstood ”. But if really thousands of years ago, there was such an advanced science, superior in some respects to the current one, who was the architect? "It's a fundamental question. This knowledge is not considered to be of human origin, "the professor admits.

"The same philosopher Schopenhauer considered these superhuman texts. In the Puranas, in fact, reference is made to the civilizations of other planets and to the exchanges that took place between these worlds and ours. The Devas are the divine beings of the higher planets who have given us only a small part of universal knowledge. The same Sanskrit language is considered the language of the gods, a cosmic language, origin and root of every language existing today. But it is good to remember that the Deva themselves refer to the supreme God / Goddess who issued the universes and gave this knowledge to the first beings of the cosmos ... I invite readers to go beyond the boundaries of culture and official history, as there are well other things to discover, for the mind and the soul. "
